We are a full-service interior design firm based in Belmont, Ma with clients both close to home and nationwide. Since opening our doors in 2016, our mission has been simple: create beautiful, comfortable spaces that feel timeless and work effortlessly for everyday living.
Diane leads a team of talented individuals who each bring something special to the studio.
Together, we collaborate, problem solve, and celebrate every milestone along the way. We’re passionate about design, we enjoy the journey, and we are grateful to do what we love.
DIANE
Diane has spent more than two decades shaping thoughtful, character-rich interiors. Before launching her own studio in 2016, she served as principal designer at a luxury residential firm, where she refined her eye and built lasting partnerships with architects, builders, and craftspeople. Those relationships—along with the trust she cultivates with clients—form the backbone of her practice.
Her work reflects a deep appreciation for design, architecture, and art. Diane’s collaborative nature and unfussy sensibility allow her to create spaces that feel both beautifully composed and genuinely lived-in, always guided by how her clients want to experience home.
Diane holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an interior design degree from New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University.
EMMA
Emma joined DMI in 2018 as a design assistant and quickly became an essential part of the team. Now a Senior Designer, she leads projects from initial concept through final installation and is a key collaborator for clients, architects and builders. With her meticulous attention to detail and love for design, Emma brings consistency and creativity to the design process and is the heart of DMI’s day to day operations.
Emma holds a BA in interior design from New England School of Art and Design at Suffolk University.
